Shore Leave is a sci-fi fan-run convention held every July at the Marriott Hunt Valley Inn, Hunt Valley, MD.
The Collective hosted a "Make it & Take it" Workshop at this annual convention.

The Polar Lights 1000 scale snap-together kits were distributed amoung the modelers, young and old. Members of the Collective were present to help them with the kit assembly. Many reported having a great time building the kits. One father told us that his daughter was inspired to build more models after they returned home from the convention. We are pleased to have inspired the future generation.
